We have knowledgable, friendly sales staff, who work on a 100% salary basis and NOT commission. Thus they are able to give impartial, accurate advice. Every one of our retail vehicles is fully serviced and any faults we find are rectified before customer collection. All vehicles are fully valeted, and any additional procedures required (i.e. MOT, Timing Belt, etc.) are carried out. This entire vehicle preperation process is included in our sales price - so there are no hidden charges. Wherever possible, the manufacturer's warranty will be kept up-to-date, ensuring the customer gets the most value from their vehicle. All keys, manuals, radio codes and service records which Maun Motors receive will be passed on to the customer upon collection. Any vehicles advertised by Maun Motors are owned by Maun Motors and in stock! Any photographs used on the Maun Motors website are taken by Maun Motors staff, of the actual vehicles they are depicting. We do not use photographs 'For Illustration Purposes Only'! Method of payment does not affect our asking prices. For example, if a vehicle is priced at £3,000†, then it makes no difference to us if you pay by bankers draft, cash‡ or finance, (because we don't work on commission), - the vehicle is still £3,000! Being a family business, we still conduct our business with an element of trust. In most cases we don't need a deposit to commit a customer to a sale. We ask the customer to trust that we will carry out the reconditioning work, so in return we trust the customer will be as good as their word too! This straight forward, more honest approach to Vehicle Sales has stood Maun Motors in good stead for well over 30 years - with thousands of satisfied customers. |
| Dealers who advertise vehicles which are not in stock. What is the point in advertising theoretical vehicles, which you don't actually own?!!! Dealers who use 'Example Only' or 'For Illustration Purposes Only' photographs - this is linked to the above. What have these dealers got to hide by not showing pictures of the actual vehicle? Dealers who will take a 'Provisional/Pre-Stock Order'. This usually means that they don't have the vehicle you want, but they will find one from another dealer, and re-sell it to you. Couldn't you just find one from another dealer for yourself and cut out the middle-man, saving yourself money in the process? Beware of large documentation and acceptance fees on finance agreements. All finance companies charge them, but they are usually nominal. Dealers can add whatever figure they want to the finance company figures - adding a lot of money to your aggreement. |
