Once Maun Motors became more established in the heavy vehicles sector, the diversity of vehicles available for hire from us grew and grew, in fact, with new vehicles like skip lorries recently added to the fleet, the range is still growing at a phenominal rate. 
A new site was purchased in early 2001; at Berristow Lane, Blackwell. The site is 7 acres in size, with in excess of 40,000 square feet of quality office and workshop buildings. The plan for the site was to have a hire and sales depot, with vehicle storage and forecourt space, body building workshops, valeting, and both light & heavy commercial servicing for sales and hire vehicles; all on one site! Many months of construction work was required to prepare the yard for Maun Motors to move into. 
In December 2001, the new Berristow Lane site, Blackwell was moved into after several months' preperation and improvement work. The site at Alfreton Road was shut down in order to make the new yard 'self-contained', for the Hire at least. 
The new Hire Reception area is spacious and relaxing, with ample customer seating, plenty of natural light, wheelchair access, toilets (including disabled toilet), and vending machines. 
Increasing customer demands and expectations have meant that Maun Motors has had to constantly evolve in order to supply the needs and exceed the expectations of its growing customer base. This has lead to Maun Motors becoming one of the largest independent Commercial Vehicle Hire & Sales companies in the UK. |
